We have a fantastic range of indoor and outdoor courts, pitches and sports halls that are available for hire to clubs, groups, members and customers for a regular slot or an occasional game. Stadium Track
Newport Stadium track is bookable for individuals to take part in athletic activities.
Tennis
Whether you’re interested in playing tennis for fun and fitness or are more competitive the coaching team across Newport Live can help you hone and develop your tennis skills.
Our centre is of a national standard and regularly hosts Lawn Tennis Association and Tennis Wales events.
At Newport Tennis Centre we’ve four indoor tennis courts along with three floodlit outdoor courts, making it perfect for all weathers, we also have four outdoor courts available at the Active Living Centre.
You can book up to one hour of tennis per day with a Newport Live membership subject to court availability.
Football
Our outdoor pitches across the city are grass, 3G and Astroturf and are suitable for 5, 7 and 11-a-side games, some pitches have floodlights so you can play outdoors all year round.
Newport International Sports Village is home to Newport Stadium which is floodlit and able to accommodate 2,450 spectators across its seats and terraces, it has also hosted international standard televised football matches. Our 3G pitch at the sports village is FIFA 1 Star registered and boasts a seated stand for 50 spectators along with a full spectator barrier.
If you prefer to play indoors, our sports halls can be set up with goals and very popular for smaller groups of 5s and junior teams all sizes.
Netball
Indoor and outdoor spaces are available for this fast-paced ball game. At the Active Living Centre, we offer three outdoor netball courts for your use. Indoor netball courts can be found at the Geraint Thomas Velodrome.
Badminton
Badminton courts are available for hire at the Geraint Thomas Velodrome and Active Living Centre. Equipment is available for hire or purchase at reception.
You can book up to one hour of badminton per day with a Newport Live membership subject to court availability.
Hockey
Our Astroturf at Active Living Centre is a perfect pitch for a game of hockey, whether it’s a competitive game, weekly training or social get together the space is perfect all year round.
Table Tennis
You’ll be able to play the fast-paced exciting game of Table Tennis at the Active Living Centre and Geraint Thomas Velodrome. Equipment is available to hire.
You can book a table tennis court for up to one hour per day with a Newport Live membership subject to court availability.
Court Hire
With a range of facilities and spaces that are flexible across all Newport Live sites, we’ll be able to help you find a suitable space for you. Courts also available include Pickleball, Basketball, Rugby, Boccia, Futsal. Call us on 01633 656757 or book a court online.
