Guests were entertained by singer Katherine Rees and guitarist John Close, who played a set of festive songs to get everyone in the Christmas spirit. Along with a spread of festive drinks and nibbles for everyone to enjoy before the show began. Guests were also invited to meet the cast after the show starring Richard Elis as Much The Millar’s Son and Geraint Rhys Edwards as Robin Hood.
‘’Our guest night is a fantastic opportunity for us to welcome friends, colleagues and supporters into The Riverfront to celebrate our annual pantomime. Panto season is always an exciting time of year at The Riverfront Theatre and Arts Centre, but this year we are overjoyed to be welcoming everyone back into the building after three years without our annual pantomime on the main stage. Robin Hood is the perfect opportunity for everyone of all ages to experience theatre and get into the festive spirit and for many of our younger audience members, this will be their first experience of pantomime. As always, our pantomime is filled with magic and adventure and we have a few surprises in store for the audience.’’ Gemma Durham, Head of Theatre, Arts & Culture at The Riverfront.
