Newport Live is all set to celebrate the 20th birthday of the Geraint Thomas Velodrome in November, which coincides with Welsh Cycling kicking off its 50th-anniversary celebrations.
In a collaborative effort to commemorate these milestones, Newport Live and Welsh Cycling have joined forces to deliver the CymruVelo Track Cup from the 3rd to the 4th of November 2023. This event will see top riders from across the UK and Europe compete across a thrilling schedule which will include track sprinting, madison, points, Omnium and more.
This event will not only witness fierce competition among elite riders but will provide a platform for emerging young talent from across the nation, adding an element of inspiration and commitment for the sport's continued growth and success.
