Newport Live is thrilled to announce that The Community Chiropractor is now based at Station, the wellbeing and activity centre in Newport City Centre. Lyndsay Crompton, owner and Principal Chiropractor at Newport Chiropractic Clinic, offers a wide range of services, looking after people’s bones, joints, nerves and muscles. Lyndsay also provides recommendations for suitable sessions and activities at Newport Live, designed to aid ongoing health recovery. This holistic approach makes Station a comprehensive “one-stop shop” for health and rehabilitation for all.

Lyndsay Crompton brings a wealth of experience and dedication to Newport Live through this collaboration. Having lived in Newport, Wales for over 20 years, Lyndsay has a diverse background, including various roles within the NHS. After a career shift inspired by the birth of her daughter in 2013, Lyndsay pursued a Masters in Chiropractic, graduating with first-class honours from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic, University of South Wales (USW). She successfully balanced her studies, motherhood, and part-time work at the NHS, whilst building a strong chiropractic client base.

Lyndsay’s entrepreneurial journey was further supported by USW’s Startup Stiwdio and the LAUNCH+ programme, which provided essential business development and financial support. Richie Turner, a key figure at the Startup Stiwdio and board member of Newport Live, facilitated Lyndsay’s move to Station, helping her realise her dream of establishing her own chiropractic practice.

Lyndsay Crompton commented, “I’m so lucky to have had the support of both Newport Live and USW, I really can’t wait to grow my business within the community of Newport and offer people the benefits of Chiropractic Care, rehabilitation and injury prevention, all within the city centre.”

Andrea Ovey, Director of Business Development, stated, “This collaboration is a fantastic way to offer a great service to our members and the wider community.Combining fitness and chiropractic care provides a comprehensive approach to health and wellness, addressing both physical fitness and musculoskeletal health. Lyndsay’s services can help prevent injuries and aid in faster recovery, ensuring people can participate in regular exercise and the activities they love, pain-free.”
