Join us at The Riverfront Theatre for an enchanting tale where magic and mischief weave together, for a brand-new pantomime in Newport, Rapunzel!
King Derek and Queen Dorothy strike a terrible deal with a wicked sorceress, leaving their beloved daughter, Rapunzel, trapped in a tall tower deep in the Welsh forest. When Rapunzel uncovers the truth about her past she sets about her escape and adventure ensues. Can the spell be broken or will the magic keep her locked away forever?
Join Rapunzel, a brave prince, your favourite comedy characters and a charming cast in this action-packed pantomime, where towers are tall, spells are wicked, and adventures are hair-raising! On Friday 5 December at 7pm and Friday 2 January at 1.30pm & 5.30pm tickets are £18 with no further discounts
Accessible performances
British Sign Language: BSL performances will take place on Saturday 13 December (1:30pm & 5:30pm) and Friday 2 January (1:30pm & 5.30pm).
Audio Described: The 5.30pm performance on Monday 29 December will be Audio Described, for blind customers and customers with low vision.
Relaxed Performance: Our relaxed performance show will take place on Monday 29 December at 5:30pm. For this performance, we will lower the sound and remove any loud bangs and strobe lighting. The auditorium lights will stay on at a low level throughout the performance. You are free to move around or leave and re-enter as needed.
