The Riverfront Gallery hosts a broad spectrum of diverse and exciting arts exhibitions throughout the year. We are proud to host exhibitions by professional and emerging artists, sculptors, community groups, and schools. Queer Joy is a new portrait and storytelling exhibition by South Wales photographer Kim Partridge, celebrating the lives, identities and experiences of LGBTQIA+ people across Wales.
Created through a series of intimate portrait sessions and recorded conversations, the exhibition brings together striking black-and-white photography with the participants’ own words. Around 20 people were invited to talk openly about their queer identities, what it means to be part of the community in 2026, and where they find their queer joy.
