Newport Boot Room is a project set up by Newport Live’s Community Sport and Wellbeing team to provide members of the local community the opportunity to purchase pre-owned boots and trainers for just £5.00.

The boots/trainers are donated in good to excellent condition, cleaned up, photographed and put up for sale on Newport Live Sports Development Facebook page. All proceeds generated from the sale will be used to support children and families across Newport to access physical activity and sporting opportunities.  

Purchases can be collected from Newport Stadium at the Newport International Sports Village (NISV) and paid for in cash or by card.

Do you have used football or rugby boots, or trainers cluttering your home?

If so, we encourage you to donate them to the Newport Boot Room project. Donation bins for Newport Boot Room are conveniently located at various Newport Live venues, including:

• Regional Pool & Tennis Centre

• Geraint Thomas Velodrome

• Station

• Active Living Centre

• Newport Stadium

• Riverfront Theatre & Arts Centre
