In partnership with Tennis Wales and the LTA Open Court Programme we aim to offer a fully inclusive Tennis Programme. Alongside our inclusive programme we offer Autism Friendly Tennis sessions and Wheelchair Tennis sessions.
To offer the best experience for all players, our LTA qualified coaches continually attend relevant upskilling CPD sessions provided by partners such as Tennis Wales and Disability Sport Wales.
Junior Wheelchair Tennis
Our Junior Wheelchair Tennis Sessions take place at Newport Tennis Centre and are suitable for players with a physical disability or impairment aged 6+ who can self-propel a wheelchair.
You do not need to be a wheelchair user to take part, we have a limited number of tennis wheelchairs available for use in the session, to find out more email customerservice@newportlive.co.uk.
The sessions take place every Thursday from 4:30pm - 5:20pm.

Autism Friendly Tennis
Our Autism Friendly Tennis Sessions take place at Newport Tennis Centre and are catered towards children and young people with autism ages 5+. The sessions are a maximum of 30-minutes with a smaller group size and a relaxed approach.
Sessions for Ages 5 - 10 years take place every Thursday, 5 - 5:30pm
Sessions for Ages 10+ take place every Thursday, 5:30 - 6pm

Open Court Hitters
Our Open Court Hitters sessions provide the perfect introduction to the world of tennis. Using softballs, smaller rackets and smaller court sizes will help players improve their balance, agility, and coordination. The sessions are a maximum of 30-minutes with a smaller group size and a relaxed approach.
Sessions are catered towards children and young people aged 5 - 10 years with a disability or additional learning needs.
Thursdays, 5:30 - 6pm
